Obamamania in South Park
It didn't take long for Matt and Trey to lampoon the new US President, Barrack Obama. A brand new episode titled ‘About Last Night’ parodies the post-election mania sweeping across America in the wake of Obama’s victory. From Randy Marsh partying in the streets with his pants down to spoofing Barack Obama's victory speech and John McCain's concession speech, South Park’s creators mustered all their satirical skills to turn this episode around less than 24 hours after the result of the election was announced.
The episode, which aired in the US last Wednesday, sees Obama conspiring with Republicans John McCain and Sarah Palin to steal the valuable Hope Diamond through an Ocean’s Eleven-style plan.
